@dr_greg_landrum @RDKit_org I agree that the expression I provided and |A and B| / |A or B| are equivalent on bit vectors, but the eq you provided and my definition do not match on count vectors, since min and product behave differently on count vecs.

@dr_greg_landrum @RDKit_org Ah thanks! I’d seen another analogous definition that had a*b/(a**2 + b**2 - ab), but I wasn’t sure if that was really a canonical definition. Does the definition you showed have a -min(a,b) term, or is it literally just the sum of all the bits in the two vectors?
