I'm 72 years old. My law practice touched five different decades. I've tried more jury trials than I can count.

About 30 years ago I realized our jury system was in trouble. Jury pools were slowly becoming a destination playground for ideologues.

It started with tort reform, then it morphed into race-based verdicts, and black protectionism.
It's now a gyno-fascist Enterprise where women can do no wrong and men are to blame for it.

There was a time I believed a jury trial was the purest form of constitutional democracy. Twelve ordinary citizens applying facts to the law. But I think we’ve since crossed the Rubicon, mainly thanks to O.J. and social media. O.J. opened the door - BLM and church of Floyd, amplified by social media, took over the show. What we used to call “stealth jurors” in the nineties — quietly, because we were afraid of spreading a social epidemic — now show up in posts bragging that their identity group is ready to derail or hang any jury they’re seated on. The ideologies that rode in with the long march through the institutions have completely permeated the American social fabric. The critical thinking required to apply constitutional principles has taken a back seat to the dogmas of feminism, the patriarchy, the victim-oppressor narrative, and the equality thesis. These leftist movements routinely overpower constitutional jurisprudence. A juror’s proper mindset is the rigorous analysis of admissible facts applied to law. Ideologues are not only incapable - they are uninterested in such a thing.
