The AJ Dybantsa vs. Darryn Peterson debate rages on as Peterson declines to work out for the Utah Jazz, and @BrettSiegelNBA reports on the latest draft intel.
"Regardless of what Peterson and his camp may think or want, the Jazz do not seem to care one bit. If Dybantsa goes first overall, as many are still expecting, the Jazz will have no issue taking Peterson with the second pick if they view him as a better overall prospect than Cameron Boozer. If Dybantsa doesn't go first, he will 100 percent be Utah's selection with the No. 2 pick, and there is no debate to be had there since the Jazz have been dreaming of such a scenario. As of this moment, six days before the 2026 NBA Draft, Dybantsa is still viewed as the clear favorite to be the first pick, despite Peterson canceling his workout in Utah and making it clear he should be the No. 1 pick, sources told ClutchPoints."

The Clippers and Nets are being strongly linked to Mikel Brown Jr. with the 5th and 6th picks in the NBA Draft, sources told ClutchPoints' @BrettSiegelNBA.
"Brown is drawing serious interest from both the Clippers and Nets leading up to the 2026 NBA Draft on June 23, and as of last week, teams behind these two teams are beginning to operate under the assumption that the Louisville guard won't be an option for them in the draft. Although the Atlanta Hawks are viewed as another potential landing spot inside the top 10 for Brown, sources told ClutchPoints it is looking like a "long shot" that he will be on the board then."

AJ Dybantsa came away from his workout and meeting with the Wizards under the belief that he will be the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, sources told ClutchPoints' @BrettSiegelNBA:
“AJ Dybantsa recently worked out for the Wizards and met with the team's leadership at the end of last week, and everything went "perfect," one source close to the situation told ClutchPoints. Between his athleticism on the wing and explosive scoring tendencies, Dybantsa would fit in perfectly with the Wizards. That is why he has been operating under the assumption that he will be the top pick, and the same source said Dybantsa left Washington DC fully of the belief that he would be the first pick in the draft on June 23.”

The Chicago Bulls hold interest in trading up from the No. 15 pick to draft Keaton Wagler, sources told ClutchPoints' @BrettSiegelNBA:
"Rival teams and personnel continue to talk about the Bulls exploring possible avenues to move up from the No. 15 pick, potentially adding another top-10 selection... If the Bulls were to trade up into the top 10, multiple personnel have stated that they believe such a move would be made for Illinois guard Keaton Wagler. Although a lot of uncertainty exists with how the top 10 of the draft will shape up, Wagler is being mentioned as high as fifth to the LA Clippers and as low as ninth to the Dallas Mavericks, signifying that he is essentially a lock to be a top-10 pick."
