@VegasDeadlock Honestly the only change I want for Mina is to make her unable to cast while her ult is up. Force her to cancel it if she wants to use her 2, dispel, etc. It would make her far more manageable without destroying her.

Aim is not my problem in Deadlock. MOBAs are difficult because of macro.
@NekoKirito7@TheLocalJjbaFan No & Skill get locked in place when they ult and are vulnerable to CC and damage. Doorman can ult, cart someone and dip with little consequence. And the problem isn't a lack of counters, its just generally annoying.
@NekoKirito7@TheLocalJjbaFan It's the combination of all of those things together that becomes a massive annoyance. Doorman is probably the most degen hero in the game atm because every Doorman is just playing kidnap simulator and diving to press 4 on the enemy carry since he's barely punished for it.
@NekoKirito7@TheLocalJjbaFan Or people just don't want to deal with a hero who has a massive AOE damage source that also slows, an instant cast ult that gives free unstoppable, the ability to just drop somebody in your own base for free, and the ability to live any situation with cheat death. He's annoying.
@nowayjoseimnot@JuzuLive Aim is the lowest common denominator in any game involving shooter mechanics. It's the single easiest skill to pick up, and you can hone it pretty trivially by putting 5-10 minutes a day into an aim trainer for a few months. Macro takes hundreds of hours to learn in comparison.
@nowayjoseimnot@JuzuLive Buddy I've played FPS games most of my life. I can aim perfectly fine. I like Deadlock because I enjoy the macro, and I happen to like Graves. Before picking up Graves, I played Geist, Mina and Haze.
When you can beat champs in R6 then you can come at me about my mechanics.

Basically the entire design philosophy of Siege the past 5 years has been taking things away, bringing them back later and pretending the game "improved"
@Somatris@Kazuma6a@Xeratricky Just because you're too lazy to learn enough heroes to be able to queue draft that doesn't mean matches wouldn't be objectively better balanced if we had it. Games should not be decided at load-in based on who didn't get enough of something on their roster.

Secondly, there's a reason every MOBA has draft, and it's because characters fill different roles. If you make everyone good at everything, you kill their individuality. If you don't make them good at everything, you need draft.

You can't make all close ranged heroes great into all long ranged heroes or CC oriented heroes or everybody is suddenly overkitted. When open beta hits there should be a casual non-draft mode, and a ranked draft mode.
