We wish all the S1 pupils starting their new school the best of luck. We can’t wait to see all our returning pupils back tomorrow bright and early including our new p1 pupils.
Since the start of January, the orange room have been working with scientists from @ClydeRF to help develop brown trout to be ready to be released into a local river. They’ve loved their topic and worked with their scientist, Jen, to release them in the river Calder last Friday.
We would like to thank the @FCparentcouncil for their generosity! Thanks to them we now have a wonderful subscription to ‘Brick Borrow’ which gives us the chance to loan two sets of Lego at a time. Once the builds are complete we post it back and choose a new kit. Thanks again 😁
We had our first session with @Project_Ability today as part of our ‘Campus Connections’ group which will create fabric art work to be displayed in a shared area of our Campus. Four great artists from Clydeview worked with 5 pupils from Cathedral Primary this afternoon.
Last week we had our first ‘Campus Connections’ meeting with pupils representing Clydeview, Firpark and Cathedral. The children will be working on a range of projects over the course of the year which they were all very excited about.
What a lovely treat we had at Clydeview today, thanks to the @FCparentcouncil. Every pupil got a wonka bar with one lucky winner in each class getting a golden ticket. The lucky winner got a prize which they collected from Mrs Webster but the class also got a prize too! 🍫
🌱 Clydeview is in bloom! Thanks to Brendan, our gardener, and our wonderful pupils, we have plants, vegetables and herbs growing in our planters outside the school. 🌱
Visit to Bellshill Library:
Blue Room visited @LibrariesNL yesterday #bellshilllib's staff helped us find books about their interests. We got to stamp out our own own books and learned that we have 4 weeks to enjoy them!
What a great first trip and thank you to the staff!
Wow, what an amazing collection for Motherwell Foodbank at the Maranatha from @ClydeviewPS@FirparkPrimary and Cathedral Primary School. A big thank you to all the families who made such a fantastic amount of donations.
