Over a year ago, KOPABINYA agrodealers' coop received a @USAID grant worth FRW 73m to set up #Rwanda's first Farm Service Centre in @Nyamagabe. Now operational, the #FSC one-stop-centre for agro inputs, animal feed, demo/training facilities has offerred coaching for 200 farmers!

Proud to host @NyabihuDistrict VM @HABANAB62472701 and @USAIDRwanda team at a mini launch of the new planting season 2022A at a 50 Ha terrace site. With @USAID support worth USD 2,597,960, (RFW 2,6 Bn) we're terracing 2,000 ha for over 12,000 farmers to adapt to climate change.

Even the best dancer leaves the stage! Handing over poultry program to @BugeseraDistr as we begin to wind up activities this final year. About 26,405 chickens distributed in the district and 212,115🐔worth over RFW 93m($94000) to 38,207 households/85 care groups in 10 districts.

Participated in the launch of the new planting season with 216 farmers on 33.6Ha of terraces located in Mukamira Sector, @NyabihuDistrict. Funded by @USAID and @FeedtheFuture, we are constructing terraces on 2,000 Ha around erosion-prone areas to boost #farm production /yield🥦.

Meet Turikunkiko Isaac, a farmer from @NyabihuDistrict. After losing crops due to floods and poor farming methods, Isaac adopted climate smart practices that increased his yield three-fold from 3 to 9 tons🥦. He is one of our 616,560 farmers that have adopted improved practices.

With @DLEC, @USAIDRwanda @FeedtheFuture @USAIDHingaWeze developed #DigitalAg extension video trainings for youth, improving cost-effective, inclusive digital extension infrastructure for rural farmers & boosting maize production for higher incomes & enhanced food security.

Together with @CABI_news, @USAIDRwanda @FeedtheFuture @USAIDHingaWeze created an online Extension Training Application to train 100+ Rwandan extension agents & 4k farmers on best practices for maize cultivation, boosting their productivity, earnings & food security.
