Fantastic to see the outcomes of @CoCAT_Study published during #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek
A great example of how digital interventions can produce good clinical outcomes and savings, whilst being considered highly acceptable by users ⬇️
The treatment came at a lower cost to deliver and was likely to be cost effective. Interviews with families and clinicians highlighted a number of ways that the approach made treatment more accessible for many families 3/4
Given the huge pressures on #camhs we were delighted to find that by digitally augmenting a widely used treatment for child #anxiety problems we could substantially reduce the time needed for busy families and busy teams without compromising child treatment outcomes 2/4
📢📢 The findings from the @CoCAT_Study are out today - available open access in @TheLancetPsych - with clear implications for increasing access to treatment in child mental health services.
Do take a read ⬇️
