Last night the heat was too much and fan was blowing hot air even with the windows open.

I decided to turn on the AC, and said I will track how many units it will take by morning. So I can see if it’s what I wouldn’t mind spending to have a good night.

31.6 units.

I woke up this morning to check it and it was 23 units . That means I spent 8 units over night with AC.

1 thousand naira gives 4.4units, that means I spent 2k for about 7 hrs AC.

Now is this sustainable?

THIS IS HOW I TURNED #2M naira to 11m naira in just 7months farming GINGER on 2 plot of land

Last year I cultivated ginger on 2 plot of land and the harvest caught me off guard

Let me give you a breakdown for you to know how lucrative ginger farming is

The total space we planted on was just 2 plots of land and it yielded more than 45 bags of fresh ginger

Here is a breakdown of how much we spent: manpower to manage 2 plot is 200k,bought seedlings of 6bags for 990k,chemical to cover 2 plot about 100k,extra expenditures 300k

We spent total of about 2million naira on all expenses

In about 7-8 months the ginger were harvested and currently a bag of ginger sell for 350k per bag.

And we have harvested more than 45 bags from just two plot of land

Let’s assume in worse case scenario 40bags is all that were harvested and you decide to sell at 280k per bag instead of the current market price of 350k,just to sell it off fast

That’s total of 11.2m in just 7 months of planting and harvesting

My next harvest now is on a 2acre land size I know what I am expecting to harvest,and if you are going to be adding value to your ginger like me you can easily x2 you profit margin.
