The City of Windhoek today hosted members of the media on an information tour of the Gammams Wastewater Treatment Plant, Water Laboratory, and the New Goreangab Water Reclamation Plant operated by WINGOC.
The tour provided first-hand insight into the wastewater treatment and water reclamation processes that ensure safe, high-quality drinking water for residents. Reclaimed water contributes about 20% of Windhoekโs water supply.
The City of Windhoek would like to inform residents of a possible water supply interruption affecting most parts of Windhoek due to limited water supply from our bulk water supplier, NamWater.
