Yesterday was my first day of *not* teaching yoga after deciding to stop regular classes. Time to focus on other things. Thanks to the students who sent such lovely messages! I'll still teach the odd cover class and I might catch some @OurParksUK classes as a participant now. 😀
@chantalwpolefit@OurParksUK Yeah, been thinking about it for a while and then had another work opportunity come up that's more in the direction I want to go. And yes, maybe bootcamp! X 💪
@CoYogaUK@OurParksUK Oh! Thank you for introducing me to yoga. You were a wonderful teacher and made it accessible to a creaky old bod like me! Good luck with everything xxx 💚🧘♀️
Might make up some rain salutations for my next @OurParksUK yoga classes. I'm kind of missing practising on green grass, as opposed to straw .... #yogainthepark#madetomove#heatwave
Look at how consistently we frame any attempt to enact social or political change as a “fight,” a “struggle” or a “campaign.” All military metaphors. We speak of “mobilizing our allies” to exert political “pressure” in order to “force” our opponents to “surrender.”
This is an essential and free online conference for anyone interested in the body and movement. Awesome line up of 80+ trainers from different fields. https://t.co/hSLNkeBYVw
This is interesting. And rings true (sadly, there are a lot of 'holier than thou' attitudes and people spouting unsolicited 'wisdom' in the yoga scene). https://t.co/GvyP2ckHrC via @qz
