If you’re on any iOS 27.x beta: please restore to 26.6.1 RC (heavily preferred since it has DelayOTA) or 27.0.1.
If you’re on an iPhone 18 Pro (Max): install 27.0.1, it patches some important issues for usability
If you’re on any other stable iOS release: *STAY WHERE YOU ARE!*
Full iOS exploit chain is live and targeting wallets
Researchers are reporting a full in-the-wild exploit chain being used by financially motivated actors to steal crypto private keys and seed phrases from iPhones.
Attack starts with a malicious page in Safari → WebKit/JavaScriptCore memory corruption → PAC bypass → native code execution → sandbox escape → kernel/root → Keychain + local wallet data.
Claimed range is iOS 13 through 26.5 (not fully independently confirmed). Until more details land, treat any unpatched device as exposed.
Update as soon as a newer build is available and stop opening untrusted links in Safari if you keep wallet keys on the phone.
