My life post liver transplant. My best friends call me Dad Founder of @popsculture85 Broh Baseball & Diamond Minds. Baseball Nerd, playing JUCO ball at 40 DCCC
I’m excited to share that I passed my fall classes, celebrated my 40th birthday yesterday, and all my paperwork is in to be eligible to play JUCO baseball! ⚾️
It’s incredible to think that just 10 years ago, I started playing in an over 30 league after a lifelong journey with basketball. I’ve got nothing left to prove, but my love for baseball and being a teammate drives me to keep playing. This sport isn’t just a game for me; it helps me stay focused on my academics as I pursue another degree in psychology and philosophy.
At the end of this journey, I know I’ll be a better person—not just for myself, but for everyone who believes in me and supports my ideas. This isn’t just for me; it’s for all of you who have been part of my journey.
Here’s to new beginnings, teamwork, and the pursuit of knowledge! Let’s go! 💪🏾🖤💙💛⚾️
Freshman season on JV is almost over. I’m very proud of my performances in the field and at the plate this season. I’m very happy to say I led the team in batting average and RBIs. I would like to say thank you to my coaches and my teammates.
You serious about ⚾️?
You better be stacking up your commitment hours!
The daily lifts
The extra BP
The endless ground balls
The grueling speed work
Those hours all add up and show how committed you really are!

Still figuring it out as I go…
but I’m proud I didn’t quit when it got uncomfortable.

Extremely grateful for everyone and their support on my journey.

Had a very productive day today started off the day volunteering and helping out at the UCBF spring classic at Edgewood High school for my travel team for 6 hours. Then I had the opportunity to hit and field today with and thanks to @CoachAaronR. #baseball#uncommitted2028
“Energy” isn’t yelling at your opponent or being overly “rah-rah”. Focus and intent are energy. Being on the top step (or on the fence) engaged in the game is energy. Sprinkle in some dugout shenanigans and rituals and you’ve got the recipe for what energy should look like.
At Diamond Minds, we believe that coaching culture isn't a suggestion, it’s a standard. If we allow "talent" to be an excuse for poor behavior, we aren't coaching; we’re enabling.
