@CoryGiger Penn state should have hired anyone a lot earlier in the process (Campbell included). I said it to friends last year they took too long and it showed the last few weeks with the lack of legit depth.

[Bernie Ambrosavage @CoachAmbroLC]

@Wearecovered Agreed. Staff was hired so late they were left little to no time to build a legit roster so a few injuries decimated it. And it showed tonight when they rushed 3 consistently.

[Bernie Ambrosavage @CoachAmbroLC]

@HardcorePSUFB Won’t start blaming the staff fully until year two but will 100% blame Kraft for taking forever and a day to make a hire, leaving the new staff little time to build a legit roster with depth.

[Bernie Ambrosavage @CoachAmbroLC]

@PSUNationRec @EricElBambino I’ll say this, I wouldn’t want to be in his shoes. I hate rushing 3 but it feels like they hate it too but feel they don’t have much of a choice.

[Bernie Ambrosavage @CoachAmbroLC]

@YeOldStater @_supcaroline I don’t think any fan is happy but gotta give the staff time. Kraft botched the hiring process, you can’t hire a coach that late and expect perfection. That being said, there is also plenty of blame pointed at the staff that’s justified but you can’t clean house this early.

@FarabaughFB Fautanu has to get out on the slide/zone side so he messed up. Dowdle likely man on 14 assuming he’s an LB on right side (rather matchup an RB on an LB instead of a DE is likely the thought) so he blew that one as well.

[Bernie Ambrosavage @CoachAmbroLC]

@tverbut @BradenAdam31374 @ThePoniExpress Half man/half slide protection. Slide to left Fautanu missed that block. Looks like partially because of the jump by the defensive lineman didn’t allow for him to get out to the wide man clean but completely on Fautanu. Terrible on the right side as well by RB.

[Bernie Ambrosavage @CoachAmbroLC]

@CFBJake Also, Koby is a dude… don’t forget to bring that up

[Bernie Ambrosavage @CoachAmbroLC]

@NittanyNation88 @psufootballu At the end of the day, whether Franklin or the position coach made the decision, it falls on the head coach for putting those individuals into those roles.

[Bernie Ambrosavage @CoachAmbroLC]

@PardonMyTake They showed a replay of him before walking into the ring and it looked like he was favoring it already. Unbelievable let down.

[Bernie Ambrosavage @CoachAmbroLC]

@smokeyknowsba11 @VOLBOYx Very talented group. Wish PSU could have found a way for them to stay but glad they got reunited with Dex and Knowles. You got some good ones.

[Bernie Ambrosavage @CoachAmbroLC]

@landon_tengwall And good luck to 75.

[Bernie Ambrosavage @CoachAmbroLC]

@landon_tengwall I mean, you go half man/half slide and let the RB sort inside out on the slide side (left side) you’re covered but you know there’s a stunt coming to confuse everyone and blow it all up anyway.

[Bernie Ambrosavage @CoachAmbroLC]

@PSU_Strong May need to call in the national guard

[Bernie Ambrosavage @CoachAmbroLC]

@MrOH1O Love this. From a Penn state fan, thank you!

[Bernie Ambrosavage @CoachAmbroLC]

@HardcorePSUFB By beat you mean destroyed. Very impressive showing from both today.

[Bernie Ambrosavage @CoachAmbroLC]

@FightOnRusty Love to hear that. What a legendary game too! Hope both teams continue to have bright futures after hearing that!

[Bernie Ambrosavage @CoachAmbroLC]

@Mrider_24 @landon_tengwall Holy Nostradamus

[Bernie Ambrosavage @CoachAmbroLC]

@shellypeee @ElonsPicks @CFBRep Could go either way but when he had a great relationship with his previous OC, he excelled. It matters more than many people think, because the kid does have talent. OC isn’t just about play calls so it’s not that black and white.
