The OHSBCA will continue to advocate to the OHSAA for the implementation of the shot clock in Ohio. The time is now, and we will remain committed to pushing for what is best for student-athletes and the game of basketball.
Congrats to Avery Pence, @whos__32, for making first team all city! It’s an honor that is well deserved and one that adds on to a long list of accolades from his senior year. Congrats Avery! Can’t wait to see what you do next year at Wilmington College!
🏆 Welcome to the squad, Camdyn Plunkett!
Camdyn joins our 16U UA Rise team after a strong sophomore campaign where he averaged 6.3 PPG, 2.7 RPG, and 1.7 APG, earning 2nd Team All-Conference honors. A tough, competitive guard who takes pride on the defensive end, Camdyn brings the kind of mindset and edge that impacts winning. @CamdynPlunkett3
Congratulations to Avery Pence (@whos__32) on making special mention all state! An incredible honor that is fitting after the great season he just had. Congrats, Avery!
Key to success is hiring good assistants. Look at #EvanBradds here. Sees the D, comes off the bench, tells Scheyer what to call. Scheyer tells team, perfectly run play.
Sorry, can only post video from phone due to March Madness restrictions.
Per @MattNorlander this is happening and Evan Bradds is getting the Belmont job. Again, can’t speak highly enough about how well-respected Bradds is across the NBA/CBB space. As good a hire as we’ll see this cycle, IMO.
I'm excited to welcome another versatile, high-motor forward who's ready to impose his will on both ends to the @madehoops Alliance Circuit: @thompson_mason0
This physical 6'4" forward from Milford High School in Milford, Ohio—grinding it out in the tough East Cincinnati Conference (ECC), a battle-tested league full of rugged, competitive play—is a 2027 prospect establishing himself as a relentless rim-runner, board dominator, and defensive anchor with serious strength and bounce.
Mason is a nightmare for defenses in transition—he sprints the floor with purpose and speed, forcing opponents to sprint back and expend extra energy just to match his pace, often turning defensive rebounds into quick-strike opportunities that wear teams down over the course of a game. In the half-court, he brings rugged physicality by using his sturdy frame to battle in the post, finish through contact around the rim, and deliver powerful putbacks that punish help rotations and generate second-chance points.
Athletically, he stands out with explosive power—he rises high for blocks that alter shots at the rim, powers through defenders for finishes at the rim, and shows the burst to attack closeouts or chase down plays end-to-end. His strength shines in traffic, allowing him to absorb contact while converting at a high rate near the basket and hold his own on the glass, consistently pulling down rebounds over taller players.
He adds smart, high-energy defense—he contests drives with length and timing, rotates to help without leaving his man exposed, and uses his physical tools to disrupt passing lanes or box out effectively, limiting easy looks and second opportunities. That blend of IQ, toughness, and athleticism lets him impact multiple positions and stay locked in through full games, thriving in physical matchups.
Mason is a rising two-way forward with tremendous growth ahead. He's primed to bring that floor-running energy, rugged physicality, explosive athleticism, and relentless rebounding to elite competition on the Alliance Circuit this summer, while powering Milford toward strong ECC finishes and playoff success next season.
Floor-runner. Physical force. Explosive finisher. Rebounding warrior. Tireless competitor. Welcome aboard, Mason—let's push the pace, dominate the glass, and wear them down!
Together We Will Rise!
