So many of these Twitter "journalists" trying to be the Stephen A of the track and field world. Controversial takes, loud, engagement farming. The difference between traditional media and this "new media" is that Stephen A and those guys can actually spell and use proper grammar.

What is T&F as a sport really doing? Which top revenue earning sport has the season starting one month, and 4 months later, the top athletes still aren't competing? T&F fans are left watching college & HS meets while the top earning athletes decide to begin their season in May?

No wonder as a sport it's dying and major investors are opting to stay away. No major broadcaster or advertising giant is going to shell out hundreds of millions of dollars to watch meets that aren't attracting the eyes.
