Used to chase the next big thing, promotions, and the next paycheck believing success meant more noise and shine. Now I'm a seasoned pro turned daily student: building authentic leadership at work, in my home and through mentoring others; mastering personal finance for real freedom; and helping people grow stronger. Interesting scenario, "Dad, why don't they ever buy us birthday gifts like we do"?
Dad - "well they say they can't afford it".
Daughter - "but their kids have new phones, video game consoles, and their cars are really nice".
Interesting huh?
How would you handle this?
America's school system has failed our children when it comes to financial education.
Parents - we need to be teaching our children personal finance or they will grow up clueless.
I've heard people say before "Building an emergency fund is broke people behavior."
They claim real wealthy people invest every dollar and just use credit cards or lines of credit for surprises.

Is keeping 3–6 months cash in the bank smart… or is fear holding you back?
Student loans don’t just steal your monthly paycheck they’re stealing your future.
By 35–45, many have zero savings, no house down payment, and life on hold.
Weddings delayed. Kids postponed. Retirement barely started.
You traded tomorrow’s freedom for yesterday’s degree. Is student debt the silent thief holding back a generation?
@FinanceDocUK Personally that is what worked for me. It depends on one's goals and situation in life.
I like not owing anyone a dime and I will never go back into debt, Lord willing.
