@SergioVazCab#Kahoot was always my favorite in school. It was such a fun way to end or begin a class. I think #Kahoot is a great way to keep students engaged and see what they have learned. Students need a break from written tests and need a more enjoyable way to assess their knowledge!
A1. To assess my students in a #PhysEd classroom, I would like to end the class with exit slips. They are short, simple, and allow me to see what all they have learned w/o overloading. On the exit slip, I can ask them fill in the blanks, multiple choice or true/false #ap3040
A1. I could use PBL in Phys Ed by having the students create their own game. I could give them each a skill and have them create a game that using that skill. This would give them free range to create whatever they want and help ensure it is keeping everyone active #ap3040
Another way I can promote diverse perspectives in my class is by allowing the students to access the website #foodbycountry It talks about food all over the world and even has recipes. This can help them explore #healthy meals in different countries #ap3040๐ฝ๐ฑ๐ถ
A2. In my classroom, I think it would be great to have some students help with the #SpecialOlympics It would be a great opportunity to share their talents with other people. Helping with the SO may help them better understand the strengths and abilities other students have ๐พ๐โฝ๏ธ
A1: I watched the #google video. One thing I liked in the video is that with #GoogleClassroom there is a calendar that automatically updates when assignments are due. This would be helpful because some students just forget when assignments are due and need extra help #ap3040
A2:My 1st app is #MyFitnessPal This app helps track exercise and has a food diary. I would have the students track 3 days a week and have them share it w/ me. My 2nd is #flipgrid I would have weekly videos assignments to talk about struggles or provide motivation for the students
@BondsKerrington@Pinterest I love the creative seating! Students enjoy seeing something different instead of regular desks. I think students need nontraditional spaces to allow for creative learning. The more different the classroom, the more they will enjoy class.
@SergioVazCab I also want to use flipgrid! I think it is important to have students work together and incorporate social skills into the classrooms. Students need to be able to hear other perspectives because it may even change theirs!
I'm sharing my future classroom layout that I found from #Google The bleachers will be their seats and the gym will be the activity area. I like the layout because it will be the gym and there will be enough room for everything and everyone. #ap3040
I plan to use #flipgrid in my future classroom to help students interact with each other and create positivity. They can talk about their progress and encourage each other to meet their goals that they set at the beginning of the year. #ap3040
