@tjbeisner If multiple conferences use similar restrictions, can athletes not argue that the conferences colluded with each other and/or will do financial harm to them by limiting their NIL potential?
@jcbowman@JCPress This is similar to what Kentucky allows too. If an area relies on tourism dollars this flexibility allows for families to travel and/or spend money to help the tourism budget/local economy.
@jcbowman@BartlettJC@EricWelchWCS I’m sure with the election coming in a month, many counties and candidates will hope the list doesn’t get out until after, especially if their county is effected.
Do you think most/all counties will be cut by the state?
@jcbowman@BartlettJC@EricWelchWCS Do we know when the state will notify each county if the state will lower the support and how much each county will need to contribute?
@jeff_gluck Why not give the playoff drivers their own points throughout the playoffs? Highest finishing playoff drivers gets 16 points no matter where they finish and lowest gets 1.
This kinda takes this issue off the table, plus it makes the points battle closer throughout
@TristanUda If you want to buyout Stoops you will also need to plan to buyout the assistants as well because most of them will not be kept by new coach. Some of that may possibly be offset if they take another position, right?
@LndsPatterson I would trade Trey and Tee for picks. This team has A LOT of holes to fill and one or two players is not going to fix the problem. Get some extra picks and cap space to give the new coach some options in the draft and off-season
@BleedBNetwork Could UK not “fire” Stoops and move him into an administrative role while still paying him his salary and thus hire a new coaching staff???
This would allow Stoops to still get his money and UK wouldn’t have to pay it in one lump sum.
