My daughter had her first day of 🏀 today. It’s co-ed, we showed up and she’s the only girl, thought it would turn her off to playing, but she was locked in and after our practice asked to go to the park to practice more. Damn near shed a tear lol
Longtime Orange AD … Seevers has been very active in the Orange County Athletic Directors Association for years … knows everybody … and a CIF rules expert. It’s a great hire.
Question for all my coaches! What’s the best offense to implement with 6-10 year olds to get them to understand how to play the game! (Off ball movement, using screens, ball movement, cutting, etc..) leaning towards the Flex but curious to see any other suggestions !
@andrestuntin If you’re able to get a scholarship to any level (including JUCO) from post grad I’d agree that’s a success. California Jucos don’t offer scholarships though. So essentially nobody is playing for free out here
@TroyBlack_ Not every path is a good path lol. If you pay to go to a HS specifically for sports, and then pay for a post grad and end up going JUCO after that. I’d say you wasted a whole lot of money and have a false sense of reality of what kind of player you are.
No hate here and a little different but…
I went
D2 JUCO
Gap Year
D1 JUCO
D1
Every athlete’s path will look different based on what they want.
I told a D3 I wasn’t interested and got
“Goodluck finding a D1”
Adults making fun of kids decisions is SAD.
You’re the adult.
