Random thought: It’s not ideal, but I can honestly see a scenario where not one player on this roster is back next season. Some decisions might be mutual.

We’re cooked. Not because of this game, just because there is no soul or spirit to this team.
The coach has lost his touch, at least with this group, and his admitted lack of involvement with this portal class was the undoing.
Pitino self-exit is imminent, in my opinion.

@SJUDave Yes, that’s exactly correct. You can recruit those type of players, even in today’s game. It’s part of the “ Special Teams” of basketball. You can’t win championships without it, and we’re not a good enough shooting team to mask it.

Defense needs a LOT of work. Mitchell was a no show today
