The awards and the recognition and the school records are really nice but what I’m most proud of is the young man he has become. He has always put the team first and the shared experience he has had with his teammates are what’s most important to him. That is what I most wanted him to learn from this sport. That the “love” of the game has nothing to do with the individual and everything to do with the team. @jojobruce7 a job well done! Proud of you.

I have been fortunate to coach Ethan since he was 11 years old. Skills and height have changed over the 7 years but two things that have always been there. 1. Love of team. E puts team success above individual stats, he has always been focused solely on team success. 2. Mental toughness/IQ. His ability to quickly analyze and adapt are off the charts. He’s always thinking 1-2 steps ahead. Sets him apart. His willingness to sacrifice his body to take a charge for the team, I’ve never seen anyone better at any level of basketball. He has been an absolute joy to coach.
