I am at a loss for words and have been flabbergasted for hours. I'm out of the state with family and dealing with this how I can. We are learning what the damages are as we uncover more things.

I appreciate everyone who reached out to me and my program looking to help -- I will be working with the administration and proper authorities to figure out how we are best moving forward.

Over the past week I have been slowly announcing my departure from my position as the Director of Esports at the University of Mary Washington.

I wanted to thank everyone for the wonderful opportunity and especially my student athletes for helping create such a great program.

While the next steps for me are outside of the Esports industry, very much intend to continue to advocate for both the DMV regional esports and collegiate esports at large. As I believe it is ever so important now more than ever for their importance to be known.
