Chargers LT Rashawn Slater on OC Mike McDaniel's outside zone scheme: "I just think outside zone's fun. Honestly if you're an offensive lineman, the rules are to just get off and go destroy everything in your path."
"If that doesn't sound fun, you might not be a lineman."
You have NFL teams doing this and drills just like it. Meanwhile, 5' nothing Johnny Notalent is in the back of the line during offseason drills talking about "This is so stupid. I dont know why we're even doing this"
Every successful HS coach needs a strong right hand man that will be loyal to him & never undermine him. If you look at some of the best programs, they have loyal, smart Number 2 guys. WHO DONT WANT TO BETRAY THE HC. Too many assistant coaches with personal agendas
Agree 100% with coach. Players shouldn't be spending a week away from their team and going to camps, most of which at universities they will never qualify for academically or athletically. Stay home. Build your foundation. Ball out in the fall. Opportunities will be there.
These boys are trying to fill the camps today!!!! Everyone excited about someone!!! I wonder how college coaches would feel if their players did camps with NFL teams instead of doing work with their own team. Help me understand how this is good for our players.

Watching college highlights of Charlie Ward, Michael Vick, Julius Peppers, and so on. I thank my lucky stars that those guys played for the love of the game
TRENDING: #NFL fans have posted they are unimpressed with the Seattle #Seahawks facilities and that everything looks โOUTDATEDโ๐ณ
The facility was built in 2007 & only cost $60 million.
Teams in the league have new facilities costing over $200 million.
@CoachShiffman We wouldnt have this problem if there weren't scumbags out there who didnt illegally recruit using things like college visits, cleats, Uber rides, non-team meals, etc and genuinely did it out of the kindness of their heart for players who were currently enrolled at their school.
Page out of the Venice playbook. Come train and get some work and if you have the size + talent we will take you at the first academy. Donโt worry Deland isnโt on our regular season schedule.
Wow.
I may be in the minority.
But students in and out of dress code is honestly a battle not "worth fighting" most of the time.
Last time I personally wrote up a female for being out of dress code was 2002.
I was a teacher at a private school.
The next day, the very wealthy dad was in the Superintendent's office yelling at her about "the pervert teacher looking at my daughter."
I then got brought down to address the dad.
The super sat there.
Did nothing to calm down the dad.
Dad teed off on me.
I took it.
Just sat there.
And never wrote another dress code referral at that school.
Or ever.
As an Admin, I have female co Admin address the situation IF it's extreme.
For the most part, I'm glad the kid is in school.
