Weekend full of basketball

@SH_Trojanbball was in Wichita. We took strides and played some really good ball going 2-1 in pool play with wins over Cunningham and Waverly.

Finished it off dropping my oldest with @rkgrafel at FHSU camp for the week.

Battle tested and tough as nails, From the 8 seed to the championship game! We went into this week knowing we were better than our record and proved it! Proud of these guys, for sticking with it and learning these lessons so now they can have this opportunity!

Proud of my guys tonight! Went in as the #8 seed and upset the #1 seed. Been right there for most of this stretch and figured it out tonight. Hard lessons learned and guys responded. Shoutout Senior Jake Simmons for breaking the single game tournament scoring record with 33!

Wasn’t pretty, but for a group of kids who have never seen a varsity basketball floor, losing our lone senior to injury the night before, me missing the first week of practice and @jimioleson1 holding the fort down. I sure am proud.

Saw the large damaging wedge that hit this home northwest of Turon, Kansas. House and property destroyed. Just performed search and rescue and found couple in home and thank God no injuries. They made it to basement 30 mins prior. They and safe but very lucky to be alive. #kswx

Congratulations to Sophomore Pablo Diaz and Junior Jacob Simmons (not pictured) for being selected the the Falcon Classic All Tournament Team.

Pablo averaged 21.3ppg, 4.7rpg, and 5.5spg Jake averaged a solid 10ppg, 3ppg, and 2spg.

Super proud of these guys. Down by as much as 18 and down 15 at half to cut it to 2 going into the 4th. Battled some of the craziest foul trouble I’ve ever experienced and gave ourselves a chance. Special group, who just needs to keep stacking days!
