@MissouriScoop Allow time for the Defense to substitute if the offense does. High School O’s can sub in a whole new personnel package, making it almost impossible to sub in on D before the ball is snapped.
@CoachHunsinger 3 high shell with apex backers and a 4 down front really isn’t that crazy. They can apex that far since the front is spilling everything out to them. 4 down lineman cancelling the interior gaps if you detach two Wr’s each way makes sense. Middle safety (star) is relating to #3
“At the end of the day, coaching is not very difficult. Can you learn information and then can you communicate that information and then can you just be honest with people so that they trust you?”
- Kenny Dillingham
This is what the influencer culture has done to the coaching profession…in some places. A bunch of coaches saying a lot without really saying anything at all. Be genuine with substance over superficiality
@bjruis904@SpreadOffense@rhettlashlee I know it’s always about who has the marker last but…
Just because you have a lighter box, doesn’t mean that it’s advantageous to run to it. Have to factor in gap cancelling, fast flow apex players, 3 high structure etc etc.
“Sometimes coaches brag about having 20, 30 years of experience but if all you did was the same thing every year and never learned or grew — all you have is 1 year experience repeated 30 times”
This is long overdue. Student
athletes and coaches are asked to prepare and compete in the narrow margins outside the school day. Many times early before school or later into the evening. Stretching coaches and athletes thin. It can be done & is in Missouri, ask @nixaathletics
@coachkou Have to get into even front looks first before anything. Can’t stay in Odd and expect to stay successful when they can down block you into the bleachers with those angles.
