Rick Pitino is right.
Every player’s hourglass runs out faster than they think.
The practices. The games. The grind.
One day… it’s all gone.
Cherish every rep. Every moment. Every opportunity.
Don’t waste your sand. ⏳
Blessed to receive this honor! It wouldn’t be possible without the hard work and dedication of our Student Athletes, Coaches and Athletic Administration!!

Kara Lawson shares a message every competitor needs to hear.
"Don't give me the power to affect your self-esteem, who you are as a person, and how good a practice you can have. Don't ever give someone externally the power to touch you in that way."
Your mindset is yours. Protect it.
"If you give someone externally the power to impact how good a day you're gonna have, what type of attitude you're gonna have, how hard you're gonna work - you're ceding something that's really, really valuable in life."
"You control that. Don't give me that power. Don't let me control whether you're gonna have a good day or not, or whether you feel good about yourself."
You choose how you want to show up.
"No one gets to own you. I don't get to own you. Nobody does. Nobody should."
"Don't give anyone that power. That's important."
Take ownership of yourself, your attitude, your effort, and your confidence.
They all belong to you.

Site update: the opening week 1 Monday Night Football game between the Broncos and Chiefs now will be played in Kansas City. The NFL had not finalized the game site until today.
This season’s first Monday Night Football game, Sept. 14, will be the Denver Broncos vs. the Kansas City Chiefs.
The game’s site still has not been determined as the NFL still is finalizing its schedule for Thursday’s release.
Also: Athletes with eligibility remaining will fall under whichever eligibility policy - current rules or the new 5-year rule - that is "most beneficial."
As written in our original story on the 5-year concept, athletes won't have seasons taken from them https://t.co/8QEC4GO3OM
