@clh_strength I mean @pbasilstrength did it at 15yo and the room went nuts. 3 spotters and a coach watching for safety. Can confirm it was mayhem after he hit it
@CoachRoseIvey You’re short a guy with 2 pullers. You could have M and W spill to FS/SS or box it back to the CB/Sam on the cutback but someone from depth will have to make this play
@rodrepairs@kelmi I’d agree to bootstrap as long as you can but making the investment in proper tooling saves (and makes) $$ down the road. I’ve also had success explaining to customers and adding to the invoice to cover the cost
@CoachTManes Three ( four) words: front, (movement tag if called) field call, boundary call. Auto checks for 3x1. Calls can change week to week only 4-5 calls per side
@425DC1 Play your rules. Mike is the relate to #3 player. Away backer can be vert of 2/flat/hook-curl. Always teach the coverage conceptually so they know where they fit in the distribution
@The_Coach_A If you’re a young coach at AFCA and not trying to make the all-lobby team and give away all your business cards are you even coaching?! @pbasilstrength
@TrapLifeFB@nate_albaugh@Coach_Pfiester Easier to get lined up. More reps vs what you typically see. You know how teams will try to attack you. In game adjustments are easier bc you’re changing small parts vs wholesale systems
How to create buy-in:
1. Explain the Why
2. Teach clearly and correct effectively
3. Deliver results
4. Create an experience and atmosphere they WANT to be a part of
5. Hold a high standard so the ones who don't want in find the door on their own
Takes care itself in time
