I implement drills to help athletes develop the correct mechanics and muscle memory required for quick sprints, good posture, and arm movements. Healthy heart ❤
Twitter family,
I was honored at the Royal Stadium today by the Fold of Honors during the Seattle Mariners game. The honored was for being a retired Olathe, KS police officer (24 years), mentoring & coach kids in the Olathe Schools and the Joco community.
Twitter Family,

2026 Sports in Kansas 6A Girls🏀 Player of the Year, All-Classes Player of the Year and Non-Senior Player of the Year: Eve Long, Olathe South
Eve Long delivered one of the most dominant seasons in Kansas high school basketball, averaging 33 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 assist and 1 block per game while continuing to establish herself as one of the elite players in the country.
The 6’3 junior has already surpassed 1,500 career points and 600 rebounds, adding over 100 career blocks while impacting the game at every level. Long’s ability to score, rebound and control games consistently separated her from the rest of the field this season.
“Battling through my injury at the beginning of the season taught me a lot about resilience and trust in God,” Long said. “I stayed disciplined, put in the work every day and turned adversity into one of my best seasons yet, all with the help of my great teammates.”
Long’s resume continues to grow on the national stage as a USA Gold Medalist, FIBA AmeriCup First Team selection, Gatorade Player of the Year, two-time Adidas All-American and a DiRenna Award finalist.
“Several coaches told me this year she’s the best they’ve ever seen, and I know who those coaches have seen,” said Chet Kuplen of Sports in Kansas.
Simply put, there was a clear separation this season. Just like Jaliya Davis owned these honors the last two years for BV North (now a star at KU), this was Eve Long’s year from start to finish.
And when it’s all said and done, she has a chance to go down as one of the most talented players we’ve covered in the 14-15 year history of Sports in Kansas. Long has nearly every offer imaginable.
