Dawn Staley’s dominant run at Murrell Dobbins Tech included three straight Philadelphia Public League titles and USA Today National High School Player of the Year honors in 1988. That foundation carried her to history, becoming the FIRST Black head coach to win three Division I NCAA championships, capped by a perfect, undefeated national title season in 2023–24.
