DeKalb Live Team Spotlight

Peoria
Coming off a 29-7 seasons with a regional championship, Peoria returns 6-4 Sr. Fenix Foy. Foy was a 1st Team All-Big 12 selection last year.

He will be joined by a loaded sophomore class that includes 5-10 Orlando Edwards Jr. 5-9 Nigel Moore, 6-3 JJ Duffin Jr, and 6-3 Metamora transfer Kayden Turner. Peoria will be young but extremely talented.

A versatile scorer that’s able to hit shots from inside, mid range & from 3. His length helps him make an impact on the defensive end protecting the rim.

2025 Illinois Mr. Basketball - IMO!
@Leshawn309

- Highest degree of difficulty of any of the others being considered. Room for error for him is minimal. Plus his team only played 5 home games all year long.

- Is asked to be primary scorer & primary facilitator on offense. And continuously makes the correct reads. While also asked to be the leader on defense as well.

- Tallest player on the team at 6’5 and has guarded every position on the floor.

- Is the primary player on the opponents scouting report- like all other Mr 🏀 Candidates.

- Supporting cast consists of 1 other returning full time starter from last year. 3 others that played minutes last year and 3-4 freshman that play alot of minutes.
