Glad @MarkHoover71 pointed this out. When teams win it becomes nearly impossible for people to see there can still be flaws in the preparation process. I don’t care how many regions or state titles a program has, bad training is bad training that can be masked by having talent.
80 8th graders consistently training every week this spring semester! Close to 150 when we combine our 7th grade. Proud of our kids showing up and getting better each week!

As an AD, I implemented a strength program where every athlete lifts in season with their current team. I challenged coaches to scientifically prove it was not beneficial. No one could.
It eliminated the tug of war over athletes and reinforced what we believe.
