Former Bryant head coach Jared Grasso is back in college basketball, per @HoopDirt, as he has joined the staff at Hampton. The report doesn't say in what capacity, but mentions he is on the road recruiting.

Pet peeve after offering a kid a scholarship…
Comment from Current Adult in their Life: “Congrats! First of many! Can’t wait to see the many more offers to come!”
Me: “How about I withdraw my offer & leave y’all to go collect 100 more offers to feel validated? 🤣”
Moral of the story — You need the ONE right offer to have a successful college career, not 100 offers to get likes online.
Don’t push kids to collect a million offers just to have them. You want the RIGHT offer to go have a successful, fulfilling career!
Here’s what I’d like to see regarding post grads….
Keep the post grad year BUT……
I know you guys are going to think I’m insane…..
I want to see the @NCAA certify post grads. Let’s keep the good ones and end the human trafficking factories.
Go to a certified post grad, don’t lose a year.
There are elite post grads that do an incredible job with a long history of success. Let’s not end that. Let’s clean up the industry and continue to be creative with opportunities for graduating HS seniors.
And hell, it will give the NCAA a function that they SHOULD be focusing on.
I want the NCAA to exist and operate. I just want it to be legal and based on the real world and common sense.
✍️ Excited to see Chatfield Jr. in a Bryant jersey. I love his ability to run the pick-and-roll & fly in the open court.
The Bulldogs have also brought in great size & athleticism in the frontcourt, which should give Bryant fans optimism going into year 2 w. @JamionChristian

Rajon Rondo on his readiness to become an NBA head coach
“I know I can do it now. I have the discipline, preparation and, obviously, it’s about having the right people around you. I feel like I know who I am, and I know the people I can trust in this business for the most part. I’ve had a lot of great mentors, a lot of people rooting for me. I definitely think I’ll be ready to go.”

Georgia Tech transfer guard Eric Chatfield Jr. has committed to @BryantHoops.
Atlanta native played 14 games with the Yellow Jackets as a freshman.
Chatfield claimed offers from Tulane, Richmond, St. Bonaventure and more as a three-star prospect.

Chatfield, an Atlanta native, was a three-star prospect coming out of high school (Pace Academy).
Averaged 13 minutes per game across 14 contests (1 start). Some high-upside youth for the Bryant backcourt between Charfield and the returning Ty Tabales.
Bryant got another HUGE commitment from Eric Chatfield Jr.
He was a top 20 PG Nationally in 2025 prior to playing last season at Georgia Tech in the ACC.
Top 9 player in Georgia.
Player of the Year in State of Georgia in HS
