Coach Cig giving yall the blueprint to success and I bet people still won’t listen.
“We’ve never had depth so I learned how to keep players fresh”
Mark Ingram “players gonna come just cause of your schedule”
Coaches have been asking about these manuals for Whole Offense or Defense or just Positions. Reach out and I can tell you how I put them together or I’ll do it for you
@Coach_Moore_BU agreed, i like the release situationally also but i think it’s also overused and allows the defense to gain leverage outside of the low red
@Coach_Moore_BU it’s crazy how sometimes asking a question, a genuine question gets taken a certain way and everything goes left. I miss the days that coaches took kids on the visits though, add that to the list of things NIL has altered
this industry isn’t designed to find best coaches. It’s designed to keep a small circle of privileged people employed regardless of their performance. But sometimes someone outside that circle gets a shot. That’s what we are seeing with Indiana and Curt Cignetti. It’s awesome.
I actually take pride in the fact that I am a volunteer at age 40. I don’t have an agent. I don’t have a dad who coached. I didn’t play college football. I’m outspoken on my criticism of racism and hate. But I do love football, I love competition, and I love our players. I said

No great coach did it without having great players. There are no geniuses, whiz kids, etc. The true genius is in knowing it’s all about the players. Great players make you look amazing, mediocre players make you look funny in the light.
Being able to identify, develop, motivate, and mentally prepare the best players is the key to sustained success.
It always has been and ALWAYS will be, all about the PLAYERS!
Everyone wants the scholarship announcement photo.
Not everyone wants:
• 5 AM summer workouts
• Emailing coaches who ignore you
• Film study after practice
• Maintaining a 3.5+ GPA
The celebration is one moment.
The grind is every day for years.
