SUMMER SPEED 🏎️
Week 2 - COD Emphasis 🧱
▪️Lateral Power
▪️General Athletic Movement
▪️“Stop Series” Progression
▪️Curved Sprints
▪️Team COD Races
As athletes ramp up and get closer to Fall camp, it’s important to be mindful of the movements & volume they’re being exposed to in June, July.
Create adaptations & feel at lower velocities - Progress to faster velocities, more volume, and more reactionary based exercises.
We have sad news to share. After 9 years at Latrobe Kaitlyn is leaving Latrobe for another job outside of athletic training. If you would like to say goodbye, her last day is Thursday from 9-11am and we will be between the two training rooms. She will be missed. Thank you Kaitlyn!

One of the biggest mistakes coaches make in Summer Training is trying to prove how hard they’re working by crushing athletes Week 1.
Teach movement.
Build habits.
Establish intent.
Hammer the basics.
Lay the FOUNDATION now so you can build performance all summer long.
