SR SPOTLIGHT- KYLE BILTZ
Plans after HS: I plan to attend Georgia Southern and major in Computer Science Engineering
Best Baseball Moment: Bryant Rhooms walk-off HR last year against Mill Creek in the playoffs
Thanks to: my parents for always having me prepared to play
Coach Wilkens - “The famous quote, ‘Speak softly and carry a big stick’ comes to mind when I think about Kyle. He is not an outspoken person, but he is a player that has had multiple game winning and game changing hits the past couple years. Kyle will definitely go far in life.”
Coach Wilkens - “I have no worries about Justice’s future. He is already very business minded (he started a small business), so majoring in business at GSU seems like a no-brainer. On the field and in the locker-room, Justice is a ‘glue-guy’; the type of player all teams need.
Thanks to: Coaches for pushing us as a team to be the best we could be. Also my family for paying for it providing a support system, and to the fans for hyping us up. I wish all future Norcross studs well; they are in great hands.
SR SPOTLIGHT - JUSTICE ZABEL
Plans after HS: attend Georgia State to major in Marketing and Accounting.
Best Moment in Baseball: My FR year, Ray Peng hit an orange off the tee in the hut, emitting the sweet smell of citrus. That's the best the hut has ever smelled to this day.
Coach Wilkens - “Daniel is a player that you sometimes have to apply the brake pedal to because he is ready to go at all times and gives 100%. He is a great leader and competitor. I’m excited we get to see him play at the next level and I have no doubt he’ll be an asset for KSU.”
SR SPOTLIGHT - DANIEL HAAB
Plans after HS: continue playing career at Kennesaw State
Best Baseball Moment: catching my brother against Brookwood his SR year.
Thanks to: my teammates, family, and coaches, and all the parents for putting in work to make the program what it is
Coach Wilkens - “This was Connor’s 1st year in the program and he was a great addition. Connor is a cerebral player that always seems in control. One of my favorite moments this season is when his teammates picked him up on their shoulders after he was named MVP of an intrasquad”
SR SPOTLIGHT- CONNOR EARLEY
Plans after HS - attend UGA and major in Sports Management
Favorite Baseball Moment - making first varsity appearance vs Northview (2.1 IP, 0 ER, 21 pitches)
Thanks to - my dad for getting me into baseball.
Coach Wilkens - “Simply stated, Andy is kind-hearted and loved by all. He always has a smile on his face and he works extremely hard; Andy lived in the batting cages before and after school. Andy lives life and plays the game with a sense of fun that I wish we all possessed.”
SR Spotlight - Andy Rhooms
Plans after HS: attend college (undecided)
Favorite Baseball Moment - Bonding with teammates in the locker room.
Thanks to: God for giving me the ability to play the sport, and my parents and coaches for pushing me to be the best player I could be.
Coach Wilkens - “Everett is the epitome of a team player. He has an amazing personality and always keeps a positive attitude. He is loved by his teammates and coaches. He has a bright future.”
SR SPOTLIGHT - EVERETT CRAIG
Plans after HS: attend Clemson or UGA
Best Baseball Memory: in youth ball, hitting a game tying triple during the championship game that we eventually won
Thanks to: my parents and all the coaches I’ve ever had
