For those following Greg's sales pitch and effort to unseat conservative Republicans who were against vouchers...consider these points:

(1) District 55 Republicans and Democrats were clearly against school vouchers and the continued underfunding of public schools.

(2) Greg's only cited support was from the results of the survey his administration created. This survey was cleverly worded to misconstrue parent empowerment and failed to speak to ramifications for public/neighborhood schools.

(3) @ShineforTexas is a longstanding CTX conservative caught up in Greg's political drama. Shine listened to his voters...the local people who make up his district. Abbott wanted Shine to dismiss his voters and instead support the agenda of Billionaires (not from Central Texas) and special-interest PACs (not from Texas at all).

(4) If you care about facts rather than ideology...the empirical evidence is clear in terms of the lack of efficacy of vouchers as well as the detrimental effect on public schools and state budgets.

**Don't fall prey to narrative. Let local officials do their job...listen to local constituents in a way that best represents their interests.
