Devastated to hear of the passing last night of James Spurling at the age of 68. His Eastgate BP was the heart throb of Chapel Hill for many years, and for the last 20 years he's faithfully and tirelessly served Carolina as facility manager of Kenan Stadium. R.I.P. 🙏

Getting out of the hospital after successful surgery on the anniversary of the day I had an aortic dissection twelve years ago is a great reminder that life is fragile. Each day is a gift and a reminder to stay where your feet are. Great to be back home in Carolina!
