Eagleville baseball fell to Richland 11-6 in the Class 1A state championship.

The game marked Eagleville’s fifth consecutive appearance in the state championship.

The Eagles finish the season 27-16.

Eagleville beat Copper Basin 6-0 to win the third round of the softball state tournament today and will now play for the championship on Saturday. The time and location will be announced soon by TSSAA.

Weather permitting, the Division I softball championship schedule and sites for Saturday are as follows:
Class 1A - 10:00 a.m. Shelbyville Central High School
Class 2A - 12:30 p.m. Shelbyville Central High School
Class 3A - 10:00 a.m. Riverdale High School
Class 4A - 12:30 p.m. Riverdale High School

Lady Eagles punched their ticket to the 🚢 with a6-0 shutout over Copper Basin! 🔥 JB Wray was lights out in the circle, tossing a 2-hit shutout. Nguyen sparked the offense with 2 hits, 2 stolen bases, & a steal of home. Walker delivered at the plate, going 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs.
