Pure history here... and you're absolutely on point. Her predecessor already paved the way, so she walked in comfortable - she just clocked in for WORK & Breaking 50 in the 400m?? Oh that's not small talk โ that's BIG TIME. Super proud of her.
Stay focused. Stay healthy. Keep building ๐ณ๐ฌ . Thanks @_OwenM_ for giving her a shout out๐๐พ @LSUTrackField@LSUCoachShaver

What makes Ella Onojuvwevwoโs run this weekend so impressive ๐
The 21-year-old LSU star clocked an incredible time of 49.59 seconds in the womenโs 400m at the Battle on the Bayou.
This performance brings her closer to ๐ณ๐ฌโs all-time top 3. Nigeria, which has a rich history in the one-lap event, was one of the strongest nations during the 1990s, as Falilat Ogunkoya and Fatima Yusuf reached the 400m Olympic final in Atlanta and won a silver medal in the 4x400m relay.
Ella, now the fastest Nigerian runner of the 21st century, will aim to break Ogunkoyaโs national record of 49.10s โก๏ธ
