An opinion that might have an edge to it: I don’t care how much “potential” he had or how he was a “good kid,” according to his family.
He murdered someone for practically nothing. A minor clash of egos that happens daily at schools around the world.
If he’s capable of killing someone for nothing, he is a danger to society. Period.
A proper society locks guys like that up for a veryyyy long time (or capital punishment) to prioritize the safety of others. A 19-year-old who can plunge a knife into a kid’s heart turns into a man who is capable of much worse.
Mercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocent.
Someone else’s life may have been saved by this verdict.
Lock him up. Give him a Bible. Pray for him. But do not ask me to have sympathy for the killer over his victim.
I’m glad Austin Metcalf’s family got justice and can begin healing.
@NUCLRGOLF It goes both ways. It’s clearly not that serious of a match if we’re not seeing out birdie putts, and that’s just fine if that’s the match.
The world of golf expects this putted out.
Thank you.
Joey Aguilar was denied an injunction for an additional year of eligibility after only playing three seasons of D1 FBS football.
Brendan Sorsby placed at least 40 bets involving Indiana as a quarterback for the Hoosiers, and used sportsbook accounts registered to family members and friends to wager roughly $90,000 over four years.
One was denied. One is playing.
@BuckeyeOutside You mean the transfer who beat women and is hardly holding healthy enough to remain the starter on the shittiest franchise in maybe all of sports?
