@declanoscanlon Makes your program look awful considering as our assessments go up rapidly our tax burden rises right along. This means with every assessment increase they simply increase their spending based on the revenue they feel they can extract from the higher assessments
@declanoscanlon I’m definitely going to set up a call. Based on this explanation we need to elect a whole new township committee in Middletown as our spending is legitimately out of control simply based on math. There should be no reason for everyone’s taxes to going up exponential.
@declanoscanlon Grok thinks annual increases of $1,000-$2000 are minimal, that’s an interesting footnote for the middle class that is fleeing our county since they can’t keep up.Maybe the issue is with the assessments. My neighbor listed for less than my house is assessed for and couldn’t sell🤔
Big shoutout to my fellow Republicans of Middletown and Monmouth County, just received our property taxes for next year, another huge increase. Everyone in town loves the yearly assessments that put our home assessments higher than those in Marlboro and Holmdel 👏👏👏👏👏
@ColbyMannionNJ When ????? The old guard in our property is responsible for the double digit property tax hikes in Monmouth county, specifically Middletown. What strongholds we have left are being lost due to people cashing in and moving out due to those taxes.
@skumWgmi Middletown NJ is proficient in taxing unrealized gains year after year 💪. Our class sizes get bigger, streets go unpaved, consistent power outages, flooding, excessive traffic due to overbuilding. We pay more and get less every year .
@Oldglorycries These politicians sit back and laugh at us as they raise our tolls, gas taxes, property taxes , utilities….. etc . They exist to make money off our backs while they live the good life. Our Republic leaders are not much better either
