Saddened by the passing of John Coffee. One of the first grassroots directors/coaches of the legendary Dayton Lady HoopStars, John was never in it for the money — he was in it for the young women he served. 1/2

I don’t know how parents afford youth sports. What I do know. Is dual credit is HS is the best bargain in town. And most JR Colleges cost around $100 a credit. That’s 2-year of college credits at an affordable rate. Not for everyone I know. But certainly an option!

AP classes & dual enrollment is still the biggest cheat code for college athletes. Stack enough credits & the likelihood of getting a masters degree paid for during your 4 years increases exponentially! 📚📈
