This is the best @UTEPMBB I've seen in soo many years. One heck of a season and tournament these young men played in.

UTEP head coach Joe Golding:

“My personal opinion. I think this program in the past decade has been splintered. We had a lot of negativety in this program. What our team did is unite this beast of UTEP fans. This team got people talking about UTEP basketball again.” #MinerTalk

We laid the foundation for the future of this program. I am proud to have coached a great group of young men. Thank you guys for the memories, hard work, dedication and love this season. #WeAreOne

[Sal Gallegos @CoachGallegosS]

I'm a little late but... what a journey this season has been. 2 years ago this program had 0 wins. Last year we had 4 wins and this year we had 9 wins with 2 of them in district. Although we didn't have the end result we hoped for

Bulldogs win a huge one in 9 innings today. Caleb Hohon, Randon Wheeler, and Barrett Waid combine for 7 hits at the plate. Benton Cloudt had big innings on the mound. Hohon earns the win in relief. Great team win. Bulldogs move to 9-7 overall, 2-1 in district. #WeAreOne #1Family

[Bandera Boys Basketball @BanderaHoops]

So proud. Our kids fought hard, left it all on the floor and gave us a chance. Shots just didn’t fall when we needed them. It hurts now, but there’s so much to celebrate. Back to back 20 win seasons, and our first playoff win in 9 years. Love these guys. Thank you seniors #FAMILY

[Sal Gallegos @CoachGallegosS]

What a season it has been with these guys. A great group of competitors, work-hungry and passionate athletes. We had our fair share of ups and downs but we always found a way to respond. It's been an honor and a blessing to watch them grow and develop in this game. #WeAreOne
