Every coach has stood on the sideline and guessed.
Go for 2 or kick it? Punt or go? Kneel it out or run one more?
I got tired of guessing — so I built the charts I always wanted on my own call sheet.
For the calls that decide Friday nights — you can find them here👇
Typically Monday we worked P&10, 3rd down on Tuesday, Redzone Wednesdays. Definitely depends on what our opponent is showing but also we use self scout to monitor how many situations we get a game and script from there. For example, we averaged four 3rd &1-2s a game so we make sure we’ve got those ready and we do that for the rest of the down and distances for each situation

Why do I bring it up? It means every timeout, every sideline play, and every clock-management decision near the end of a half has to be planned differently than what you see on Saturdays and Sundays.
What you’re seeing isn’t our GameState app system.

An NFHS rule a lot of us forget: a missed field goal in high school isn’t dead at the spot like college.
Reaches the end zone? Touchback, ball at the 20. Falls short? The defense can return it or take it where it stops.

If you could know only ONE thing before kickoff, what would it be?
Offense plays great?
Defense plays great?
Special teams play great?
Game management is flawless?
Which one helps you win the most games?
Coaches! We just updated the app to our newest version! We have taken into account all feedback and are really happy with our latest adjustments!
Also, Texas coaches, we know you guys are different than NFHS! We are hoping to a launch a Texas version later this week!
