I've never understood running the ball. The ball goes a lot faster if you throw it deep. You score more TD's that way.

And don't tell me the kicker gets the extra point... why kick for 1 point when you can throw for 2? That's TWICE the points!

A field goal is worth 3 points. A TD is worth 7. So why waste a roster spot on a kicker in the first place?

You have to understand, 4 downs means 4 chances to score a TD. Why punt when you can throw a damn touchdown!?
