@MikeCunningham I would argue it helps with building a relationship - which I believe is of paramount importance. Doesn't have to be a home visit, but going to see them in person at a meet, in school visit, etc. All very valuable. Even today.

Davis qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 3000m Steeplechase and set a new Army record at NCAAs. He was also the Patriot League Champion in the Steeplechase and the 5000m run.

@MikeCunningham The big issue at the D1 is going to be the finances of everything and how this relates to Title IX. This is what is really going to affect opportunities because of the limited spots.

This is not occur at the D2 D3 or NAIA level - or those D1 that opt out.

@MikeCunningham There is a lot of misinformation out there on this topic. D2 does not have Roster Limits - D1 only has it for those that opt into revenue sharing as part of the House Settlement.
