Can’t think of a Sophomore kicker/punter that put up these numbers:
- 35 Touchbacks
- FGs of 46, 49, 49
- 40 yard punt average
- punts of 48, 56, 57 yards

You obviously know nothing about kicking and warming up. Kickers go through the same exact routine before every game. The Chiefs kicker was doing the exact same thing on the Baltimore end. #kickersarepeopletoo
Here is where I call bull on Justin Tucker. Why is your kicking stand at the 1? The long snapper is going to be snapping from there. So you will be 15 yards back. Yet you have your stuff scattered out like a toddler where anybody can trip & roll an ankle. You instigated it.
It’s hard to find words to sum up this year, but I’ll keep it short. I’m thankful for everyone and everything that has happened this season. It’s been challenging, unique and a hold lotta fun. I appreciate @BCFootball , my brothers, and the bc family! This year was special.
7 days until our season opening scrimmage against the Lowndes County Vikings in Valdosta! The energy on the pitch in Waycross has been electric! Rain or cold, the grind never ends #BeatLowndes
It’s possible to kick a D1 ball on a D3 frame.
But, you won’t pass the eyeball test as easily. The eyeball test just means physically look the part of the level you’re trying to play at.
You can be a smaller kicker and play at a very high level, but you still should look like you found the weight room.
Then rule in recruiting is bigger is better, faster is better, stronger is better.
Kickers believe they can out technique their size issues which is true to an extent.
But you can’t always out technique a strength issue.
(As always D1 and D3 are relative terms. There are D3 kickers who should be FBS starters and D1 guys that probably should’ve only played at a smaller school, at least for kickers. Kicking recruiting is weird. It doesn’t pan out as neatly from HS to College as other positions do)
