Simplify sports when talking about confidence and it’s connection having fun. The two go hand in hand! If you are not having fun, I guarantee you that you are going to struggle with your confidence. #confidence#collegeathlete#collegebaseball#playerdevelopment#fun
Your reminder as we grind through this spring baseball season. If you are in a funk, struggling at the dish or on the mound, remember to control what YOU CAN CONTROL #repost#collegebaseball#mentalperformance
Hey @IndianaFever did you hire our youngest daughter to your front office by chance?
I know she’s a coach’s kid and all, but since the @WNBA draft on Monday she’s been saying things like ‘WE picked Raven Johnson’ or ‘WE have a lot more backcourt depth now’

PSA to coaches…
After 23 seasons coaching in college and five now in high school, this was the first basketball season I didn’t get sick once.
No magic. No superpower.
Just three daily non-negotiables:
Happy New Year! To kick off 2026, we have a great interview with guest Hadara Katarski. We sit down to discuss the 3 biggest struggles student athletes had in the Fall of 2025 and how to overcome those struggles. These 3 are: Communication, Injury Recovery, and Confidence! #BTL
Change is change, and we are the ones who label what it is. We have to be able to accept the changes that happen and take them in stride to ensure our continued success. Change is hard, but if we look at change as inherently bad, we are already limiting ourselves. #GrowthMindset
Do you think coaches should have to explain to their players “why” they made a change? What are your thoughts on this? Is open communication regarding playing times and lineups the way to go? Or not? Let me know in the comments what you think! #Communication#Coaches#Athletes
My father was a 9th grade hoop coach for a half dozen years, and I thought growing up a coach’s kid was the coolest thing ever
Until, I became the father of two coach’s kids
Even on crutches moments like this after an OT win, down 14 in the fourth, are pretty cool for both of us!
When Mark Katarski coached the Seton Hill women, the team became known for its bombs-away 3-point shooting. "3-ton Hill" once made 17 3s in a game.
He's the Mt. Pleasant boys' coach now, and the Vikings made 14 3s tonight against Yough.

"It is all distilled down to two things: people and basketball."
Mark Katarski is primed to take the boys basketball reins at Mt. Pleasant, his alma mater.
