At this point in my career, I'm not sure how much longer I'll be coaching with a team. But right now I'm at Aurora Christian (7-1) in Aurora Illinois. I blessed to be part of a very talented group of coaches. Knowledgeable men. Hard nose football men. TRUE men of FAITH. They are Coaches that don't need to curse their way thru a practice to get their point across. Sometimes when coaches volunteer to help a program, whether it's youth or high school, they take it as a free pass to do and say whatever they want. The few coaches who are abusing the position should be the first ones told to leave, because your program isn't going to tolerate any form of abuse. PERIOD. Coaching kids hard or asking a kid what he doesn't quite understand, is fine. But asking him if he's an f'in r'tard, isn't. PERIOD. Yes, that's out there. EVERYDAY. As parents you can and should demand better for your child. Years ago I did just that for one of my son's teams. Maybe if you act with courage today, your kid will for a lifetime! 😉
