@OleTimeHardball Eric Davis was a 5 tool player. He was an elite outfielder won 3 gold gloves. Was a power hitting, base stealing machine. There is no comparison here. Please!!!

[Jim Merola @CoachJMHotshots]

@ScoutSoftball Ok that’s different and I agree. Thanks for clarifying.

[Jim Merola @CoachJMHotshots]

@ScoutSoftball I’m assuming these are drills and we are evaluating foot work? If that’s the case they should be moving through the ball and following their throw to first base. Taking a few steps through the target after release of the ball. Your feet should continue to move.

[Jim Merola @CoachJMHotshots]

@ScoutSoftball And not a single one of them
followed the throw.

[Jim Merola @CoachJMHotshots]

@ScoutSoftball Excellent take! 100% facts.

[Jim Merola @CoachJMHotshots]

@CompleteGame Never said video was a metric. It is subjective. Watching a player play is subjective also. Strictly using metrics to gage that a player is good will get you burned in many cases. Thats why you see high draft picks in MLB and NFL bust. How many 4 star recruits bust? Metric studs

[Jim Merola @CoachJMHotshots]

@TBTimes_Rays @JeffPassan Adrian Houser= Aaron Civale Same thing no difference

[Jim Merola @CoachJMHotshots]

@Coach_Twinn This instruction right here is what you should be following to become a good hitter. Nice job explaining. I will be following

@_coachrachel The better question is how many pitches can they command.? MLB starter= 3 Closer=2. Fast-pitch pitchers,
Too many of them= 0.

@_coachrachel Curious as to which D1 programs carried rosters greater than 24 players? I never see roster sizes that big.
